Within the studios of GP1 Studios, which is the base for the creative and imaginative photographer Arwyn Bailey, is equipped with a wide range of lighting, from continuous to strobe lighting, and other additional items such as a smoke and bubble machine.
There is also an efficient laboratory set out in the kitchen of the studio that is more than sufficient to enable you, as our client, for the developing of negatives, paper positive imagery and 5 x 4 contact imagery.
As a participant on any of our courses you will be under full and safe supervision in our small laboratory.
Extended facilities are installed that include a negative drying cabinet and a portable print dryer ensuring that, as our client, you will be able to walk away with your own “work” that you will have actively produced, as well as a pinhole camera if attending our introductory course.
We have a range of backdrops and an adaptable space that can be utilised in many different ways to create an effective space for your work when attending a studio based school.
We also have a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a toilet, a small changing area along with the requisite computing power. We also offer a full wide printer option with a high spec Canon IPF printer that can produce art up to A1 in size, along with a similar high spec A3 Canon printer.
Many of our other courses also use the studio as a starting point.
